Abstract :
The study was focused on variability in discharges on equity of water distribution of outlets along the secondary canal. Hydraulic performance was evaluated based on delivery performance ratio (DPR), adequacy based on relative water supply (RWS) and variability in discharges using coefficient of variation (CVs). Off take and all outlets were calibrated by area velocity method. During study period the delivery performance ratio of minor and head outlets indicate that head outlets draw more than their design discharge, whereas at middle and tail receiving less than allocated discharge. In reality because of poor operation and technical deficiencies most of water is ended at the head outlets and inequity exist at system level. The relative water supply of the first head outlet indicated that supply is more than demand. Whereas at remaining outlets supply was less than demand. The variability in discharges along the outlet has increasing trend.
