Abstract :
In this paper we investigate the dynamics of the non-linear difference equation: xn+1 = xn−1xn−3 − 1, n ∈ N0, where the initial conditions x−3, x−2, x−1 and x0 are real numbers. In particular, we look at the periodicity, boundedness and existence of unbounded solutions.
