Abstract :
We give some necessary and sufficient conditions for weighted translation operators T a,w : Lϕ (K) → L² ϕ (K) to be concave, where K is a locally compact hypergroup. For an element a in the center of K, we show that T a,w : L² (K) →L² (K) is concave if and only if Ta,w is an isometry
