Abstract :
FELDA Sungai Klah’s Hot Springs Park (HSRP), located in the interior of Sungkai, is a new eco-based hot springs and mountain water park that is managed by the Plantation Sdn. Bhd (PRSB). This study examines the potential of the HSRP as a FELDA tourism product, reviews the recreational activities and attractions available in the HSRP, and the tourist perceptions of HSRP. About 50 tourists were selected randomly for this study. Their responses were analyzed using the 15.0 version of the SPSS program. The result of the study showed that tourists came for swimming, egg boiling and trailling while watching the flora and fauna, and natural sauna therapy from the hot springs . Most tourists were satisfied with the facilities provided although some were less satisfied with the ease of transportation, recreational facilities, accommodations and entrance fees. However, most tourists planned to visit the HSRP again in the future.
