Abstract :
In general, the level of satisfaction with the characteristics of green-tech electrical products in any community is still relatively low. This study measured the actual satisfaction level of domestic consumers in the Kuala Lumpur City area. Primary data were gathered from electronic mail survey of 391 residents of Kuala Lumpur City . The study found high levels of consumer satisfaction with regard to green-tech electrical product innovative features (71.46%), product suitability (74.90%) and product quality standards (75.00%). Moderate satisfaction levels were found with regard to consumer experience of use (69.93%) and ease of use (65.73%) of the products. These findings suggested that the experience and ease of the green-tech electrical products use needed to be improved. At the same time, there was also the need to improve the innovation, suitability and quality standards of the products in order for them to remain relevant with time. In other words, there is a need to review the country’s National Green Technology Policy with respect to enhancing customer satisfaction based on the findings.
