Abstract :
Calculation of tidal harmonic constituents are still using conventional methods, development of methods are dominant on computational system, and, the methods are still using AD system of the calender. This study aims to determine whether the amplitude of harmonic constituents a calculated from the grouping data based on the Hijri calendar provide of character relatively equal (stable) in the same month compared to the AD calendar. The comparisons are performed at 10 major harmonic constituents, it s to compare the tidal range calculation from the value of the harmonic constituent and the Sama ethnic group method (MSS). The result showed, The deviation of amplitude very small of each constituent harmonics if calculations based on the Hijri calendar, and the amplitude of month of Sha ban is relatively stable and higher than other months.Value of determinant coefficient (R2) for tidal data begins on the phase a new moon (BB) and full moon (BP) has value higher than other phases. ANOVA,showed that constituents of K1 and S2 affected if the tidal data begins when the lunar phases are first quartile (KW1) and full moon (BP), whereas when the initial phase quartile 2 (KW2) occurs constituent of P1, K2, MS4 and M4.Thus, the calculation of the harmonic constituents with tide data begins when the new moon phase or follow Hijri calender will generate optimum value of amplitude
