  • Abstract
Although, the internet is public but insecure channel for data transmission, we are compelled to use it for sending and receiving our data. This data may be very secret. Continuously, it is very urgent to update our techniques for securing and concealing our data across the internet. Recently, DNA becomes more and more popular, as they are applied to many kinds of applications, authentication protocols, biochemistry, and cryptography. It has many elegant characteristics. So that concealing or hiding data in DNA becomes a promising area of research. This paper introduces two data hiding schemes. Both schemes apply data hiding scheme on DNA sequences by exploiting the DNA and Amino Acid mapping redundancy property. Both schemes are accomplished through two phases. First, both of them begin with the construction phase. This phase is responsible for secret message preparation. Second, data hiding phase take place. Both schemes were implemented and tested against several criteria to measure its performance such as capacity, payload and bpn. Those schemes achieved very good results in increasing the amount of data that can be hidden in DNA sequence compared with the previous results of other work. Also, the robustness analysis proved that both schemes are very strong against attacks
