Abstract :
This paper investigates an initial-boundary value problem with nonlocal conditionfor the wave equation. The numerical solution is developed by using Homotopyperturbation method. This method is based on the use of traditional perturbationmethod and homotopy technique. Using this method, a rapid convergent seriessolution can be obtained in most cases. Furthermore, this method does not requirethe discretization of the problem. Two numerical examples are presented to illustratethe strength of the method.
