Calculating and comparing the efficiency of educational departments in Islamic Azad University of Jiroft-Iran using DEA

This paper is devoted to calculating and comparing the efficiency of educational departments in islamic Azad university of Jiroft-Iran using data envelopment analysis (DEA), a mathematical programming- based technique for evaluating efficiency. The data of the study have been collected by 4 questionnaires and 21 departments are under consideration. The results of the study exhibit that 6 departments are efficient and the average of the efficiency scores is 0.82. Eight DEA models have been utilized and the results of these models have been combined by an approach provided by Soleimani-damaneh and Zarepisheh [11].
