Abstract :
It is anticipated to say that Ontologies and Semantic Web technologies will influence the next generation of e-learning systems and applications. In the e-learning field ontologies can he used to model educational domains and to build, organize, and update specific learning resources (as learning objects). This paper present ontology based methodology to resolve automatically cross curricula conflicts. The proposed solution helps to unify recommend course materials of the e-learning standards. The solution in this paper takes into consideration, that available course hours are variables, and that the course topics are dynamic. Yet an ontology base is content-oriented research, so we apply our solution in the first version on syllabus for fourteen courses of computer sciences and information systems. The computer science and information system knowledge base came from authoritative reports. The resulting curricula are a unifiedeasily iipdatable syllabus of computer science andinformation systems courses.
