IDENTITY AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM BASED ON THE FACE AND THE BALM IMAGES OF VEILED TO ENHANCE SECURITY IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES

Education institutions is public property that required everyone to keep it and to maintain its workers, such institutions are more targeted for being a sensitive field in the Egyptian society. This paper presents an identity authentication system to enhance security in educational institutions. It is based on image retrieval technique for images of both the face and the balm of the hands of veiled person. This is due to the security problems accompanied with veiled in these educational institutions. The process needs only an ordinary camera and a computer without any complicated technology. Experimental results were based on two databases for face and balm of the hand. Each of which includes 100 images. The experimental results show high precision and recall values.
