Abstract :
This article discusses the school social work intervention in addressing social problems among students. This concept paper is based on a reading journal articles and books related to the effectiveness of school social work interventions that have been carried out by previous scholars and writers. Social work practice in school settings can help to improve social problems among students. School social work intervention carried out with involving individual, family, neighbours, community and social policies in improving the school system. Based on discussions of interventions made by social workers, it shows that there is a positive impact on students’ academic achievement and their socialization in the society. The effectiveness of this intervention shows that school social work practice is effective and practical as one of the efforts to address social problems among students.
