Social Policy: A Theoretical Assessment from Social Justice Point of View

In this study, the relationship between social policy and social justice is evaluated from the equality point of view, and social policy is defined by using the same theoretical and conceptual framework. Social policy discussed more in terms of applications, has an aim of reducing social inequalities and sustaining social justice. Therefore, theories which are thought to be in the center of social policy are put forward. These theories are grouped as follows: Contractarian, utilitarian, egalitarian and libertarian. As a result, social policy is defined and discussed in depth by giving specific importance to the egalitarian approach.
