Abstract :
The solution of the tri n-octyl amine in toluene is used for extraction of the platinum solution (10 ppm) from acid media. Platinum (IV) was extracted quantitatively using 10 ml of 0.5% w/w of reagent in toluene from 0.05-1 M hydrocholoric acid. Platinum in organic phase was stripped with percholoric acid, and then concentrated with Aq: Org 1:10. The ICF was applied to analysis the platinum in solution.
