Abstract :
Three isolates of a strain of Metarhizium anisopliae were isolated from swarmed adults of Coptotermes heimi at Faisalabad. The exposure method of these isolates against termites included soil substrate and filter paper treatment with different concentrations s (1x 10^4, 1x 10^6, 1x 10^8, 1x 10^10 conidia/ml) of conidial suspension. LT50s for three isolates of M. anisopliae on C. heimi were comparatively more (93-175 hrs) in soil than on filter paper (91-135). There was not only significant difference in different concentrations of all isolates but also among the isolates of M. anisopliae (p 0.05).
