Abstract :
The nitrates of nickel, zinc and iron with purity of about 99.99% witn nitric acid 65% as a solvent were used to fabricate Ni1-XZnXFe2O4 (wherex=0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5) employing sol-gel technique. X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Energy Dispersive X-.Ray (EDX) analysis were carried out to identify and determine the best crystal structure. The XRD analysis shouied major peak at plane (311) of the cubic structure for all the ferrites. SEM images in agreement with XRD analysis shoto that NiO.6ZnO.4Fe2O4 is the most high quality and well-crystalline sample unth uniform grain size distribution of the size of 200nm, a suitable material for the deoelopmeni of the vertical magnetic dipole.
