Abstract :
With the development of technology, digital publishing is gaining att ention. Aft er e-journals, e-books are now gett ing att ention from key players in the book industry.From the library, e-books began to enter the mass market aft er the emergence of dedicated e-readers like the Kindle and Nook as well as free soft ware like Adobe Reader, Microsoft Reader, and ePub. However, how well is e-book publishing known, or accepted in general? Based on an analysis of previous studies, it is clear that the existence of e-books is generally known, but its use is still low. In fact, many people do not realize that apart from purchases, e-books can be borrowed for use in most public and university libraries. Although e-books have advantages such as acquired mobility, space saving, and 24/7 access, problems in long onscreen reading is still the main reason print is the crowd’s favourite. In addition, the choice of title in e-book form is still relatively low due to several obstacles that exist in the form of pricing and distribution, digital rights management, e-reader compatibility and others
