  • Abstract
    The purpose of this study is to identify whether foreign students are either instrumentally or integratively motivated in selecting strategies for learning the Malay Language. A quantitative method is used to answer the research questions. A questionnaire is used to collect data. A total of 300 foreign students representing six countries were selected as respondents. The data was analyzed to answer the research questions. The finding shows that the foreign students are more integratively than instrumentally motivated in their selection of Malay Language learning strategies.
