Abstract :
This study was conducted in order to identify the perceptions and preparations of Malay Language teachers in applying social network Google Plus in teaching and learning Malay Language in three secondary schools in the Seremban 2 zone, Seremban. A total of 30 teachers who teach Malay Language subjects were randomly selected for the study sample. This study used questionnaires with five point Likert scale for the purpose of collecting information. Researchers carried out descriptive analysis such as the mean and frequency to study the perceptions and preparations of teachers based on gender. The findings showed that the teachers involved showed very positive attitude on the use of social network Google Plus in teaching and learning literature component (Komsas). Teachers were willing to use this social network to be applied on students. Analysis of data was done with the support of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0 and the mean score for each dimension of perception and preparedness as per scheduled plan. Some suggestions for future research were also proposed at the end of this study.
