Abstract :
This study was conducted to identify identifying competencies, attitudes and use of Web 2.0 applications in teaching and learning Malay language. Among the selected Web 2.0 applications is the use of blogs, social media, media sharing and use of the wiki. It also wants to see the difference Web 2.0 applications competent teachers, teachers attitudes towards Web 2.0 applications and the use of Web 2.0 applications with teaching experience. A total of 137 teachers Malay primary school in a district in Negeri Sembilan as the research respondents. Questionnaires were used as the research tool to collect data. Data were analyzed using the Predictive Analytics Software (PASW) Statistics 18 as a tool for the analysis of inference. The findings showed that there were no significant differences between Web 2.0 application competence and attitude of Malay Language teachers on Web 2 applications with teaching experience. However, there are significant differences between the use of Web 2.0 applications teacher with teaching experience. Therefore, the use of Web 2.0 applications as teaching aids among primary school teachers have a positive impact on teaching and learning Malay language.
