Abstract :
Since the periods of the first Turkish settlement in Anatolia (also partly today) while neighborhoods were being created, it had been in fact tried to be developed activities for the settlement layout which had been built around a mosque earlier. The status that was observed in the Anatolian cities, as a matter of course in all regions, might be shaped in this way. That settlement layout is also undoubtedly helpful for determining the life styles in the scientific-legal-social and economic fields in our regions. The history undoubtedly testifies the exploits of the Turkish-Islamic community in the periods that they were faithful to their own culture and moral principles.Based on these reviews, with the following work, we try to give brief information about mosques and madrasas that are the preparation centers, Turkish-Islamic community’s contribution to the world civilization and in the position of educational institutions by determining madrasa, mosques, small mosques and dervish lodge by means of Judical Registers called şer’iyye sicil that are local examples with Kastamonu centered in a way that first-hand and most reliable historical sources and face-tofaceinterviews with obversers of advanced age that we could reach.
