Abstract :
The aim of this study is to develope a scale of learning environment of biology lesson. Forthis aim, totally 123 scale items (29 negative, 94 positive items) which are a five-point Likerttype were prepared by reviewing relevant literature. The scale was applied to 127 students insecondary school selected with convenient sampling method from high schools in the centerof Erzurum. The data were analysed by SPSS statistical program. The reliability and validityanalyses of scale were counted through item-total correlations, the mean differences between27% of lower and upper grous and factor analysis. As a result of the factor analysis, fourfactors with totally 37 items were identified. Crombach Alpha internal consistency coefficientfor whole test was found to be 0.936. Therefore, it may be said that this scale is a rather reliabletool.
