Abstract :
Globalization is a process for all societies and countries forced to open their borders to alleconomical, political, cultural factors or changes in the worldwide. The process may be eitherimprover or destructive in bases of societies in general and specifically childhood. Because,globalization effects on daily lives of children where they live, develop and interact with others,as well. In this essay, the effects of globalization on children and childhood were discussedin bases of media, health, education, economy, social life and family in world wide and thescale of Turkey. Globalization cause developing a new comprehension about childhood. It putchildren in to labor environment, make them to get used to consume by media from the earliestages, affect their socialization process by institutions aimed more teach then educate to themand eventually make them more individualistic.
