Abstract :
In this study, teachers’ opinions about 8th grade science and technology program which hasbeen applied since 2008-2009 instruction year is determined. Participants of this study were randomly selected 117, 8th grade science/science and technology teachers who were working at the primary schools in city of VAN center anddistricts. Survey model was used in this study. Scale which was developed by Yıldırım and Alp(2007) was used to collect data in study. Percentages, frequencies, mean, standard deviation,“T-test” and “one way ANOVA” were used in the analysis of the data.The purposes of the science and technology, content, learning- teaching period andevaluation were studied and teachers indicated that they have generally positive opinions aboutthem.
