Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine teacher knowledge and behaviors on the definition andpossible solution regarding student problems such as hyperactivity, low self-esteem, exam anxiety,lack of attention and concentration disorder, lack of motivation, learned helplessness, learningdisability, lack of self-confidence. Study group included 200 teachers from different subject areaswho work in 16 elementary and secondary schools in Eskişehir. Data was analyzed with contentanalysis, one of the qualitative research methods. Analyses indicated that 13.25 % of teacherson the definition of problems and 24 % of them did not have any ideas on how to solve thoseproblems. Findings were presented separately for each one of problem area as well asoverall evaluations on them were completed.
