THE EFFECT OF USING INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD IN MATHEMATICS INSTRUCTION ON ACHIEVEMENT AND ATTITUDES TOWARD MATHEMATICS

Information technology (IT) products are used as an important tool in mathematicseducation. In this study, it was examined the effects of using IT products, namely interactivewhiteboard (IWB), on students’ academic achievements of mathematics and on their attitudestoward mathematics in Erzurum Vocational School. In the study, pretest-posttest experimentaldesign with control group was used. Results of the study showed that use of interactivewhiteboard significantly enhances students’ achievement and attitude.
