Abstract :
The purpose of the current study is to explore how to assess secondary school teacher-students relationships in terms of the dimensions called in the class, at school and out of the school. The study has been conducted in 7 school students with 176 teachers as well as with 515 students in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Data of the study have been collected using the scale developed by Ipek and Terzi, named as the “Teacher-Student Relationship Assessment Scale”. Data analysis has been completed using arithmetic mean, independent t-test, ANOVA and Scheffee test. There is a significant different between the perceptions of the teachers and students in terms of the dimensions called in the classroom, at school and out of the school. There are significant differences between the perceptions of the teachers in terms of the dimension called out of the school according to their seniority.
