Abstract :
The purpose of this study is investigated to students who have different learning style preferences whether equally benefit from cooperative learning process. The participants of the study consist of 36 students who are attending to Physics III lesson in Dokuz Eylul University Education Faculty of Buca. In the research which was arranged with one group pretest-posttest model, the students were attended to the cooperative groups according to their academic success. The “Perceptual Learning Style Inventory” and “Electric Units Achievement Test” were used for collecting the research’s data. At the end of the study it was seen that there was a significant differences on the student achievement test’s scores according to their learning styles. The auditory students were more successful than visual and kinesthetic ones. Besides, it was determined that the students’ visual scores which was taken from learning style scale is positive correlated with achievement scores while the auditory scores are negative correlated.
