Abstract :
This study contain the adaptation period in Turkish and findings of validity and reliability of Teacher Observation of Classroom Adaptation–Checklist developed by Koth, Bradshaw and Leaf (2009). Data was collected from the private and government early childhood education centers (n=254). In the result of analysis, it was found that the scale contains three factor structure; Concentration Problems, Disruptive Behavior and Prosocial Behavior as seen in original version. Reliability analysis was found .94 for Concentration Problem, .90 for Disruptive Behavior and .88 for Prosocial Behavior sub dimensions. In the conclusion, this scale is valid and reliable in order to assess the classroom adaptation of children in early childhood education centers in Turkey.
