Abstract :
The current study was carried out to determine the attitudes of teachers working at preschool education institutions regarding family involvement activities. The research is a descriptive survey. A total sum of 893 teachers from seven regions participated in the study. “The Attitude Scale of Teachers for Family Involvement Activities” developed for the study and the validity and reliability analyses were carried had a reliability Cronbach Alpha coefficient of .89. The analyses of the data were made in the software program SPSS 15.00 through “One Way Variance Analysis” and “Independent Samples t – tests”. The attitudes of teachers over family involvement activities were determined. Depending on the findings of the research, no significant difference was found between the family involvement activities of teachers in terms of the categories of gender, the post they are working for, the institution they are working for and the status of experience. A significant difference was found in terms of the age category of the teachers.
