Abstract
This research aims to evaluate opinions of prospective preschool teachers regarding the public personnel selection examination (PPSE) Field test. Research was carried out with 85 prospective teachers enrolled at Kastamonu University Faculty of Education, Department of Preschool Teaching Program. The study was carried out pursuant to the design of case study method that is one of the qualitative research methods. Semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool. The interview data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis and content analysis. As a result of analysis of the interview data, ıt was detected that most of the prospective teachers (75 %) prefer field test rather than KPSS exam and when selecting teachers, other factors must be taken into consideration.
