Abstract :
In this research ceramics oxide Nano powders NP were produced by spray pyrolysis technique. A mono and di metal oxides powder were fabricated by using their metal basic salts solved in water Ti(SO4)2 and (CuSO4) to produce titanium dioxide TiO2and copper oxide )CuO( respectively by spraying at a temperature of (700 ±5) ˚C and different molarity (0.01,0.1 ,1)M. Product NPs were used as additives to the mortar material at different ratios (0.5,2.5 , 5 , 7.5 wt%) in order to be used in construction application including covering building . Investigation on these NPs and mortar have been done, such as particles size, X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), apparent density for the NP .Apparent density and thermal conductivity for prepared mortar. Results showed that the produced NPs has particle size about (55.7nm) for titanium oxide TiO2 and (67.8 nm) for copper oxide CuO with crystal structure Tetragonal and Monoclinic system respectively. Prepared mortar has been improved where bulk density increased with increasing proportion of NP and thermal conductivity decreased. Making the addition of NP beneficial, and have a promising future in modern construction application.
