Abstract :
Nowadays, Optical fibre is one of the most imperative communication media in communication system. In this research, the design and simulation of an optical fibre dispersion compensation schemes was presented because of its flexible points of interest and unimportant transmission losses it is utilized as a part of fast information transmission. Although optical fibre communication has a great deal of favourable circumstances, dispersion is the fundamental execution restricting element. In this paper two dispersion compensation techniques have been merged in order to explain the effect of CW wavelength on the performance of the system performance. It shows the ideal performance of the system when the wavelength is 1550 nm and the quality of the signal is high which is 6.9 and BER 1.7 e-12 which are among the acceptable range for optical fibre communication system. The modal was simulated by using the parameters which incorporate CW laser wavelength 1550 nm, fibre length (km) 50 km , Dispersion coefficient of FBG utilized is – 2000 ps/nm and attenuation is 60 dB/km. There are three various parameters was examined which are BER, Q factor and eye opening. The simulation results have been analysed depending on various parameters by utilizing Opti-System 12 software.
