INVESTIGATING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE DC-DC CONVERTER FOR DIFFERENT VALUES OF INPUT AND OUTPUT DATA IN ELECTRIC CIRCUIT

The aim of this research is to test the efficiency of the DC-DC converter by using it into a simple circuit and measuring the output voltage, current and power of the circuit to evaluate the output characteristics of this inverter in order to determine the energy consumption and its efficiency. In this study the efficiency of DC-DC converter for two types XL4015E1 and MP1584EN had been investigated. The differences in the voltage drop and the efficiency caused by changing values of the resistance and the coil in the circuit has been investigated and studied by measuring the presence of the inverter in the circuit and without it and then comparing the results by conducting several measurements on a variety of electrical circuits starting from the simplest and then somewhat more complicated and then compare them to the factory default settings to obtain a better view of the function of the converter in different operating conditions. The results indicate how much power the inverter consume to operate. The results shows the best conditions for the operation of these two types of switches to achieve the best performance with the least loss of energy consumed.
