Abstract
In this paper, we suggest a new iterative method free from second derivative for solving nonlinear equations with fourth order convergence. This method is obtained from Jayakumar’s method (Int . J. comput ,Eng .3(2013) 38-42) , which is fourth order convergence . The convergence of the present method is discussed .Some numerical examples are given to illustrate that the new proposed method is more efficient and significantly better than other existing methods.
