Formal aspects of Dırana s Poems

Ahmet Muhip Dıranas has a respectable place with his original language, his way of speaking and his usage of the image in Turkish poetry in the republican period. He was separated from first generation of syllabic meter because of that he made reform in the form of poetry, in spite of that he wrote his all poems with syllabic meter. He brought a new usage in the verse unit, the verse form, the meter, the rhyme and the line. So he added new accumulations to the custom and expanded possibilities of syllabic meter.
