ON THE COMPOUND TERMS CREATED WITH THE PSEUDO WORD

By the revaluation in language, the studies have begun for the sake of finding correct responses in Turkish language for the foreign terms. Over time, the rapid development of the existing branches of science, the emergence of new forms of art necessitated a more systematic study for scientific complex language. As a consequence, many terms in science and art have been originated. Deriving a term can be done by bringing in new words by using roots and suffixes, and also it can be achieved by combining two separate case generating a compound word. As the response for the prefix called pseudo whose meaning ise fake, lie or nominal in Latin language, the word called liar have been used in Turkish language. The word , “liar”, have been found practical in many of the branches of science such as medicine, astronomy, mathematics, archeology, architecture, fine arts, etc. However, it has been identified limited on the term dictionaries of science and art. It has also seen examples where the term is used incorrectly. At this study, in terms of the richness and strength of Turkish language, various conclusions have been reached by considering the word liar.
