  • Abstract
    Aim: In this study evaluation of men’s knowledge, attitudes and behaviors about testicular self-examination and testicular cancer were planned. Method: This study was a descriptive-cross sectional study took place in Aydın Health School among nursing men students. Data were obtained through the forms which prepared by the researchers in accordance with relevant literature. For analysis of data. Spss 16.0 package program were used. Results: According to the results, 65.6% of the students do not to have any information about testicular cancer and 69.3% of them do not have any information about testicular self-examination, 90.6% of them do not to have any training about testicular self-examination, 73.8% has not doing testicular self-examination, 89.4% did not know testicular selfexamination and 83.1% need to carried out testicular self-examination as a periodically. Moreover, 52.3% of the students appointed that testicular self-examination can be determine abnormal situation and 75.4% of them appointed that testicular self-examination can be determine diagnose of testicular cancer. Conclusion: In light of the results obtained from the study it is suggested that health education activities be planned and carried out for students in order to increase their awareness regarding testicular cancer and testicular self-examination.
