Abstract :
The parasitoid species,Anisopteromalus calandrae(Howard, 1881) (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Pteromalidae) is recorded for the first time from Rawalpindi and IslamabadPunjab (Pakistan). It was detected on mung bean (Vigna radiata) and kidney bean(Phaseolusvulgaris);damaged by two species of GenusCallosobruchus:C.chinensisand C. maculatus.Main identification charactersand measurements of taxonomically important partssupported with micrographs have been given forfuture identification and its possible utilization againstC. chinensisand C. maculateson various stored products.
