Abstract :
A number of new ligands of open sides of Bis-Oxadiazole and Bis-triazole derived from dichloroethane and [Bis (2-ehloro ethy) ether)] (BCEE) were synthesized. These include: 1 , 4 - bis [-3{thio- 2 - (Chloroethyl)} 1,3,4 - oxadiazole -5yl] butane (L|), 1 , 4 -Bis [phenyl- 3 {thio - 2 ( 2 -chloroethoxy) ethyl} 1,3,4- oxadiazole-5yl] butane (L2), Bis [4-phenyl -3{thio(chloroethyI)} 1,2,4 - triazole-5yl] methane (L3), Bis[4-phenyl-3 {tliio- 2 ( 2 -chloroethoxy) ethyl} 1,2,4 - triazole - 5yl] methane (L4), 1,2- bis [4- phenyl - 3 {thio-2 (chloroethyl)} 1,2,4 - triazole - Syljethane; monodimethyl sulphoxide (L$), 1,2- Bis [4- phenyl - 3 {thio- 2 ( 2 - chloroethoxy) ethyl} 1,2,4 - triazole - 5yi] ethane (L6) and 1,4 - Bis [4-phenyl - 3 {thio-2 (chloroethyl)} 1,2,4- triazole - 5yl| butane; mono dimethylsulphoxide (L?) respectively. This was prepared from the reaction of one mole of the following compounds: 1,4 - Bis [2-thio - 1,3,4 -oxadiazole -5yl] butane (Mi), Bis (4-pheny 1-3-thiol-1,2.4 -triazole -5yl) methane (Mi). 1 , 2 - Bis (4-phenyl - 3 - thiol - 1,2,4- triazole - 5yl) ethane (M3) and 1 , 4 - Bis [4-phenyl - 3 - thiol - I, 2, 4 - triazole - 5 yl] butane (M4) respectively with two moles of dichloroethane and (BCEE) and two moles of sodium hydroxide. In addition, new close ligands of Bisoxadiazole and Bis-triazole derivatives with some of their complexes of copper and palladium were synthesized. The ligands were 2 , 2 - d i [ 2 - t h i o {l,4Bis(l,3.4- oxadiazoie-5yl)butane] diethylether(L|C)andDi-l ,2-di [ 3 - thio - Bis {4 - Phenyl - 1,2,4 - triazole - 5yl)methane] ethane, trihydrate (L3C) were reacted with metal chloride. (M+2 = CuandPd)and gave new complexes of general formula (CJ2Hl6N403S2 ) 2 MCL2and(C3sH32N12S4 )2MCL2 ,respectively. The synthesis of ligands Di-l,2~di 3 - thio - 1 , 2 - Bis { 4 - Phenyl - 1,2,4—triazole— 5yl} ethane] ethane.mono dimethylsulphoxide (L5C)and_ Di-l,2-di[ 3 - thio - 4 - Bis {4 - phenyl - T, 2 , 4 - triazole - 5yl) butane) ethane. Bis dimethylsulphoxide. (L7C) All these ligands and complexes were characterized by appropriate physical measurements: CHN analysis, (1R) (Ft-IR), (U.V-Vis) and molar conductivity.
