Abstract :
Analytical and numerical results are reported on the approximate solution of the Lane–Emden equation by Adomian decomposition method. Considering only a few terms of the series solution, the result has been compared with the exact solution for a particular type of nonlinearity. The present method performs extremely well in terms of accuracy, efficiency and simplicity.
