Abstract :
ThisstudywasaimedtodescribeamodelofeducationforwomeninMadrasah MuallimatPUIwhichhaduniqueandspecificcharacteristics,anditisstillmaintaineduntilnow.ItisaspecialeducationforMuslimah,aimingtomakecadresofeducatorswhoareregardedasanobleprofessionforwomen.Thestudyusedaqualitativeapproachandthedatawerecollectedthroughliterature,documentation,in-depthinterviews,andparticipantobservation.Thefindingsshowedthat:(1)TheeducationinPUI’sperspective:viewingtheimportanceofeducationforallhumanbeings,integratingthescienceandreligion,educationskills,entrepreneurship,faith,noblemorality,andinnovativeskills;(2)ThemodelofeducationforwomeninMadrasah Muallimat included:lookingattheimportanceofeducatedwomen,learningscienceandreligion,beingfluentinreadingtheQuran,masteringtheArabiclanguage,beingabletoreadtheKitabasasourceofreligiousinstruction,havingpersonalityasatrueMuslimahwhoisskilledatthefieldofwomentosettledownprovision,beingeloquent,beingabletoleadthecommunity,beingspiritededucatorsandbecomingeducatorsforfamiliesandcommunities,aswellasbeingnoble.
