Abstract :
Velopharyngeal Insufficiency (VPI) means that the velopharyngeal closure is inadequate or disturbed. VPI may be organic
or functional and results in open nasality. VPI due to sudden weight loss is a very rare condition. We reported a case of open nasality and Eustachian tube dysfunction due to sudden weight loss after bariatric surgery.
