Abstract :
This research includes the investigation of a lecture room, DX-air conditioner cooling mode ventilated, under Industrial Technology Institute, Seoul University of, Korea with STAR-CD program to verify the convergence of validation and prediction results by the program and the selection of the appropriate model by the ANSYS-FLUINT to be able ensure to use later. The results have a degree of reliability. It was suggested to implement the program after confirming the reliability to know the thermal comfort for students the choice was placed on Hall No. 206B in the building Attached first floor to the Department of Mechanical Engineering University of Technology, difference in the air velocity and temperature as well as ADPI calculations was established to compare among a typical vertical split unit system and the 4way cassette –AC. It was found that a superior air distribution performance is achieved by the 4way cassette – AC when compared to the vertical split unit system when it recommended by the standard of internal environmental ANSI / ASHRAE Standard 55-2010 conditions.
