Nanobioconjugatesusingcarbonnanotubes(CNTs)areattractiveandpromisinghybridmaterials.VariousbiologicalapplicationsusingtheCNTnanobioconjugates,forexample,drugdeliverysystemsandnanobiosensors,havebeenproposedbymanyauthors.Scanningtechniquessuchasscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM)andscanningprobemicroscopy(SPM)haveadvantagestocharacterizetheCNTnanobioconjugatesundervariousconditions,forexample,isolatedconjugates,conjugatesinthinfilms,andconjugatesinlivingcells.Inthisreviewarticle,almost300papersarecategorizedbasedontypesofCNTapplications,andvariousscanningdataareintroducedtoilluminatemeritsofscanningtechniques
