Abstract :
Elemental composition of honey varies widely depending on plant, bee, and other environmental factors.In this work, locally produced along with imported honey samples were analyzed for their elemental composition using ICP-MS technique. The elements Mg, K, Ca, V, Cr, Mn, Ni, Co, Cu, Zn, Rb, Sr, Cs,Ba, Pb, Hg, and U were determined. Comparisons between local and imported honey samples in terms of elemental concentrations were drawn.

يخلتف تركيز العناصر في العسل باختلاف نوعية النبات و نوع النحل المنتج له بالإضافة إلى عوامل بيئية أخرى.
تم تحليل عينات محلية و كذلك عينات من العسل المستورد المتوفرة في السوق السعودي و ذلك بغرض قياس تركيز العناصر التالية U, Hg, Pb, Ba, Cs, Sr, Rb, Zn, Cu, Co, Ni, Mn, Cr, V, Ca, K, Mg في العسل المحلي و مقارنتها مع العسل المستورد باستخدام تقنية بلازما الحث المزدوج–الكتلة الطيفية (ICP-MS)
