Abstract :
The essential oil of three Cymbopogon species has been analyzed by GC-MS. The major constituent of C.citratus was found to be citral (67%), geraniol (12%), geranyl acetate (10%) and limonine (6%). The major component of C. flexuosus was found to be citral (61%), geraniol (13%), geranyl acetate (8%) and limonine (6%). The major component of C. nardus was found to be geraniol (58%), citral (14%), geranylacetate (7%) and limonine (4%). These essential oils were evaluated separately for anthelmintic activity. The activities were better when compared to standard piperazine citrate.

citrates هو citral (67 %), geraniol (12 %), geranyl acetate (10 %) و limonine (6 %).
nardus (58 %), citral (14 %), geranyl acetate (7 %) و limonine (4 %).
