We are pleased to bring you the first issue of 2014. This year, AOTT will see the introduction of a series of new innovations as in the last year. First, I am grateful for your great support and interest in the journal. Our journal will not only increase the number of articles it prints per issue but also realize ahead-of-print publishing of articles on the Internet. As a start, we offer you 20 articles in this issue. The support of the Editorial Manager system initiated in mid-2013 cannot be denied.
