Abstract :
Sir, perifollicular repigmentation is a wellknown phenomenon in vitiligo, but not in any other diseases. Here we report three patients with hypopigmented lesions subsequent to bullous pemphigoid which healed with perifollicular pigmentation. Three patients of immunofluorescence proven bullous pemphigoid whose lesions subsequently eroded and ulcerated were treated with oral corticosteroids. Subsequent to this, the ulcers started to heal. On examination of the ulcers during healing, perifollicular pigmentation was noticed and on follow up this pigmentation started to spread ultimately leading to repigmentation of the ulcer sites in all three patients (Figures 1 and 2).
