Abstract :
The result of interleukin-8 level through acute and chronic phases in pneumonia patients sera was showed high level in patients compared with healthy persons (0.194 ± 0.046, 0.095 ± 0.006 pg / ml , respectively) with a significant difference statistically (P0.05). The results of interleukin 8 levels in the age group ( 2 months -3 years ) higher than the age groups ( age 15-60years ) (age 60-85years ) (0.154 ± 0.04, 0.131 ± 0.02, 0.113 ± 0.2 pg / ml , respectively) with no significant difference (P0.05).
